CURC launches new pre-retirement course

With a million union members looking at retirement in the next decade, CURC has developed, tested and now trained people to give a two-day pre-retirement course. On March 21-23 in Toronto, 16 retirees from area councils and affiliates were trained to give the course. Plans are now underway to offer this course in conjunction with CURC Area Councils and CLC Labour Councils in Ontario. Similar training for the prairies will be done May 27-29 in Edmonton.

The course instructors, Bob Hatfield and Pat Kerwin (back row at left) are pictured below with the participants.
